Steve Grant
Steve formed Grant Constructions and Capital Corporation in 1990/1991. In 1999 BRW named Grant Constructions the 10th fastest growing company in the country. The company went on to win many business and construction awards including the first builder to be awarded prizes in the Master Builders Excellence in Construction Awards for 10 consecutive years.
In 2003 the NSW State Government named Grant Constructions the Western Sydney Industry Award Winner – Business and Corporate Services for the business that achieved the most significant state, national or international focus and recognition for Western Sydney.
Steve sold Grant Constructions in 2004 to focus on other interests including property development through Capital Corporation, Cencorp Property Group, Eden Brae Homes and Grant Rural Industries. These groups hold an investment portfolio more than $300m and have a development pipeline in excess of $1b.
Capital Corporation has been integral to the outstanding growth of the Norwest Business Park. The group has developed over 45 buildings and relocated almost 1000 companies in Norwest. Overall we have relocated over 1,000 companies in the Sydney metropolitan area all based in buildings provided by the group.
Steve came together with Ben Fairfax in 2009 when they started Bluestone Property Solutions, an innovative development organisations with strategic partnering at its core.
Delivering a range of successful projects across the residential, industrial and mixed use classes, Bluestone Property Solutions offered a unique partnership approach to deliver results to their clients.
In 2015, Steve formally joined Capital Corporation with Bluestone Property Solutions to form Capital Bluestone.
Steve is one of the industry’s most well-known and respected professionals, with a long history of delivering quality projects and pushing the boundaries to deliver better outcomes on any project.
Steve has assisted many charitable and community groups including serving as Chairman of Western Sydney Red Shield Appeal, member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and Chairman of the Western Sydney Institute of TAFE.
