Adam Carr | Dr Karl of the Coffee World

 

Adam has worked in research for over 8 years, in Australia at the University of NSW, and internationally at Cornell University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Aerodyne Research Inc.
 
The applications for his research have been diverse, including advanced particle production technologies, reaction engineering, sustainable fuels processing and novel extraction technologies. Once he discovered the application of his experience to the coffee industry, there was no going back! Adam returned to Australia in 2015 to pursue his interest in designing his own coffee technologies.
Now as Seven Miles’ resident coffee expert, Adam uses his skills and deep love of coffee to improve our understanding of coffee science and technology through our coffee science and education centre.
 
As part of our commitment to continuously improve the coffee experience, Adam designs experiments to test the latest and greatest coffee gear and ultimately around brewing better coffee.
 

 
The Stage Door Café is a specialty coffee venue setting a new benchmark in Bella Vista for quality food, beverage and customer service. 
Run under management and partnering with industry leading coffee roasters, we offer three distinct blends, built from carefully selected specialty coffees and designed specifically for use with milk. These blends are made up of in season coffees and focus on consistent profiles, expertly balancing harvest variations. 

By design we will work with a select milk blend and then use single estate coffees for our black coffee program. These single origin selections comprise a large range of micro-lot, auction lot and single estate coffees. 

Complimenting the specialty coffee and other premium beverages we offer quality made to order and pre-made food items for breakfast and lunch. 

Our 3 conference meeting rooms are available for booking 6 days a week Mon-Sat. Seating capacity by room is 35 pax, 55 pax and 70 pax. Catering is available on site or for local delivery in the Norwest Business Park.

Please note: there is limited parking at the Bella Vista Hotel. Please allow extra time for traffic around this area and parking which will be limited. What about taking the Metro and walking up to the Hotel?
