Celebrate Women In Business

The Celebrate Women In Business event looks at different industry workplaces and the roles, challenges, and successes that women experience in them. We explore how they are supported in various industries, as well as the obstacles they’ve overcome to get where they are today.  
 

This a great event for all members (men & women). Bring your colleagues and clients to hear from these inspirational speakers. 

About our Guest Speakers:
 

Tracy Spicer | Television, radio, newspaper and online journalist, writer, speaker and trainer.
Renowned for the courage of her convictions, passion for social justice, and commitment to equality, she also has a wicked sense of humour.
During her 28-year career, Tracey has reported for, and anchored, national news, current affairs and lifestyle programs for Channel 9 and Network Ten in Sydney, Melbourne and
Brisbane.
Currently she works as an anchor for ABC TV's The Drum, cast member on ABC TV’s Agony
series, opinion and travel columnist for Fairfax Media and Debrief Daily, presentation trainer at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, and media trainer for Spicer Communications.

 
The 48-year-old is also the convener of Women in Media, a nationwide mentoring and networking group, backed by the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance.

Rebecca Higgins | Owner of Sydney Polo Club | Rebecca is the co-owner and CEO of the Sydney Polo Club and the Argosy Agricultural Group, and whilst originally training as an interior designer, Rebecca is now also a counselor, and NLP practitioner and an equine assisted learning therapist and facilitator.
Having played polo for 20 years Rebecca and her husband Peter, bought their Richmond NSW property in 2000 to realise their dream of a country polo estate. The name ‘Sydney Polo Club’ was bequeathed to the Higgins’ in 2000 and the club found a new home. Rebecca has been instrumental in the design and planning of the club's facilities and it's beautiful gardens and surrounds, as well as an adjacent residential polo development. Rebecca has developed a highly successful wedding and equine events business under the Sydney Polo banner. The Sydney Polo Club have succeeded to outbid over 22 countries to win the Polo World Championships at Richmond to be held in 2017.
