Western Sydney is creating a once in a lifetime economic boom with Airport and Badgerys Creek Aerotropolis that is bringing together infrastructure, businesses and knowledge-intensive jobs. With the completion of Norwest Rail-link and a future planned by the Commonwealth government $5.3 billion investment in the Western Sydney, we are building on natural and community assets and developing a more contained Western City District with a greater choice of transport and services aligned with growth over the next 20 to 40 years.
 
Join Alex Hawke MP, Theo Psychogios (Partner Deloitte Economics and Commercial Advisory) and Tim Spencer (Executive General Manager Mulpha Developments). Alex Hawke MP
Alex was elected at the 2007 election as the Federal Member for Mitchell, an electorate centred on the Hills Shire in Northwest Sydney.
The Mitchell electorate is changing rapidly, with many young families moving into expanding suburbs. Our community has so many innovative small and medium enterprises and their prosperity will be a core priority for the Morrison Government. Alex is also an advocate for reducing the size and scope of government and ongoing reduction of red and green tape for small and medium businesses.
 
Alex holds a Masters of Government and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sydney University. He has also served as an Army Reserve Officer. Alex has a deep interest in Australian history, is a strong supporter of the Parramatta Eels and the Western Sydney Wanderers.
Raised in Sydney’s North Western suburbs, Alex, his wife Amelia and their sons, Jack, Lachlan and Thomas, reside in Mitchell.
 
Theo Psychogios-Partner Deloitte Economics and Commercial Advisory
Theo is a Partner with the Financial Advisory group and focuses on providing services to the State, local and Federal governments, government agencies and private sector organisations they interact with. He has a broad background in consulting and advisory services having been responsible for the management and execution of advice across a range of sectors including infrastructure and transport, education, health, IT and telecommunications, water, energy and property.
 
Theo has been a lead advocate for the economic and social development of western Sydney, starting with the ground breaking Shaping Future Cities - Designing Western Sydney report which provided an economic blueprint for the region sustainable and equitable growth. His work has influenced government decisions on the Western Sydney Airport, Metro West and Metro Greater West, the Westmead Innovation Precinct, aerotropolis, Western Sydney City Deal, the renewal of regional town centres, along with renewed investment in arts sports, education and health infrastructure.

Trevor Oldfield AM KSJ BBus JP
 
Trevor Oldfield – Co-founder and current CEO Kids West Children’s Charity. Current President of the Greater Blacktown Business Chamber and Chamber Alliance of Western Sydney. Also, President of NBC Sports Club. Trevor has over 30 years’ experience in Senior Management and Customer Service having worked in both the Private and Public industries specialising in Credit Management and Human Resources. Trevor has a strong passion for the greater community and its future growth.
 
 
Schon G Condon-Managing Principal at Condon Advisory Group, Specialist in Financial, Operational, Sustainability and Business Advisory
 
As the Founder and Managing Principal of Condon Associates Group Schon leads a team of 20 talented accountants, financial analysts and other specialists in forensic services, personal and corporate insolvency, and company turnaround.
 
The group has two distinct areas of practice: Condon Associates, which focuses on businesses experiencing financial distress, and EBIT Management Services, a company dedicated to helping businesses with their bottom line and providing support for future growth and development.
 
In 2013 Condon Associates received the Australian Small Business Champion Award for Accounting Services, capping an extraordinary year of success for the business which saw the company involved in a number of critical, high profile matters.
 
Schon was appointed as a NSW judge for the Australian Tourism Awards in 2011, a position he currently holds. He is also the Trustee for the Windsor and District RSL Sub Branch and Director of the Royal Australian Artillery Historical Company. And he has held the role of Chairman of the CPA’s Public Practice committee and presidency and chair of the Turnaround Management Committee.
 
Schon maintains strong relationships with all professional associations including the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 
 
 
 
Richard Holland-Membership and Engagement Manager SHBC
 
With a background in banking, finance, training, printing, online marketing and various management positions over 35 years, Richard draws on a vast array of experiences and situations to help those he meets achieve their goals.
In his current role as the Membership & Engagement Manager for the Sydney Hills Business Chamber, Richard’s key approach to connecting with others is simple – “everybody is a person first and foremost, and if you look after the people, the people and the business will grow and develop.” He aims to help every chamber member to the best of his ability.
 
While the day to day duties of his role keep him grounded, he’s very much a ‘big picture’ person with a creative can-do attitude, and this has led to various opportunities, including the creation of CAWS. His aims for CAWS mirror the organisation’s vision and mission statements, while his
personal goal is to have every local business chamber within Greater Western Sydney as part of this incredible team, so that we can truly support and represent the region with one voice.
 
 
 
Sonja Palic - Chairman -Sydney Hills Business Chamber/ Entrax Commercial Interior Fitouts - Business Manager
 
 
Sonja Palic is the first female chairman of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber and is a Board Member of the Australian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Sonja is a co-author of “Think Big”, inspirational stories of other thought leaders and their success. She is passionate about Business, the Building and Construction industry and especially about Women in Leadership and the ever changing roles and challenges that present themselves today. She has been a business owner for over  25years and is Co-Owner of Entrax Commercial Interior Fitouts with her husband.
