Established in 1976, Ability Options provides a range of services to over 3500 people with a disability across NSW. Focusing on ability, we encourage our participants to say ?I can too?. Our programs are person-centric & encourage choice & control. Our services include Case Managers, Allied Health practitioners, Lifestyle Enhancement Programs and the management of clients Individualised Funding Packages. Our Employment Division focuses on Job Placement and On-The-Job Support and our Wholesale Nursery provides training and employment for people with complex needs. Our youth specific services include out of school care and early intervention programs. We provide supported living arrangements and drop in support. Our Transition To Work program provides training in life skills to assist youth people in making the transition to ongoing employment. Ability Options is also part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pilot in the Hunter Region of NSW. These services bring independence to the people we support, enhance their lifestyles & allow the community to be enriched from working, supporting, befriending & advocating for people with disability. All staff have completed Working with Children Checks and operate under the Disability Service Standards.
