Our Annual golf day is definitely on for 2021.

The date is Friday November 19th 2021.

IMPORTANT: To be eligeable to play you must be double vaccinated and be able to show proof of this at registration via the app.

We?re doing things a little differently to ensure that COVID restrictions are met, and this has helped us create some fun and inventive ideas to make this year?s event fantastic!
 

Firstly, there?s no big lunch or presentation at the end of golf, instead we are doing a pit stop lunch in your teams of 4 after 9 holes in the brasserie, before you go on and complete your remaining 9 holes.
 

We?ve added lots of team challenges and games to each hole and there?ll be information at every hole to inform our players about Men's Proactive Health and Wellbeing. 
 

As well as opportunities to support Bring A Mate initiatives to support men in our community.

To add a bit of extra challenge for those serious golfers among us, we?re playing off the Black Tees for the event on the Gangurru Course (rated #96 in Golf Australia?s Top 100 public access courses).
 

(If you?re not a serious golfer and just playing for fun that means for those serious golfers it?s really going to be a competition for the pro?s - the rest of us will enjoy the day fumbling our way through each hole having a laugh).
 

Teams will play in 4 man/woman Ambrose groups, but this year Tee Times will be staggered (which means we all start from the same tee, but at different times). We have reserved tee times from 7.58am - 9.50am , in 8 minute intervals.

NOTE: It would greatly assist us if you can put ypour team of 4 together and book in at the one time.

You can also book in as a two or even a one and we will do our best to team you up but you may need to be forgiving with the tee times in this instance.
 

So pick your team tee off time from the ticket options. Then be at the course (proshop) a minimum of 30 minutes before your tee time.

You can also send your mates an invitation to join your team when you book your ticket.

Its very important that each group tees off on time, to ensure the smooth running of the day.

Each hole should take an absolute maximum of 15 minutes to play, so please be mindful of your pace of play out of respect for all players.

? Green Fees

? Cart (2pp per cart)

? Breakfast (B&E Sandwich and Coffee)

? Lunch and Drinks at Lunch

NOTE: If you need to hire clubs, please contact the course before the event day to reserve your clubs and pay on the day for these.
 

When players register in the pro shop , we will give them a voucher for breakfast and Lunch

Egg & Bacon Rolls available from the Brasserie with Tea/coffee before tee off. 

Lunch will be available from the Brasserie:

? Steak sandwich OR Hamburger - Served with Sautéed Onions, Mushrooms, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and House Sauce + Hot chips 

additionally there will be a vegetarian option available and closer to final regos we send an email re your lunch order & also your golf handicap.

If we dont recieve a response for this information the standard offer for lunch of a Steak Sandwich & chips will be placed for you.

HANDICAPS & PRIZES

? If you have an AGU handicap, then you will advise on arrival and play to that.

? If you have a Social Club handicap, then you will advise on arrival and play to that.

? If you don?t have a registered handicap the Ladies will be allocated 45 and Men 36.

? The winning ambrose pair for the day, will win a round for two each, with a cart at Riverside Oaks.

COVID RULES ON & OFF THE COURSE
 

? There are ?No Bunker Rakes? on course and all balls that go into the bunkers can have a preferred lie in the bunker and once your stroke is completed, just foot fill the divot.

? ?Flagsticks? can be removed however it is advisable to use your Gloved hand to do so.

? ?Ball Washers? are not to be used at any time during your round.

? There is to be no congregating of players prior or after the round either on course, in the pro-shop or the car park and all relevant social distancing rules are to be followed on the day.

? However, each playing group is invited back to the brasserie to have lunch at the patrons own cost, and there will be chamber specials available on the day.

IMPORTANT:  Golf will go ahead rain, hail or shine unless the course advises us otherwise prior to the round.

 

ONLINE PRESENTATION:  An online ZOOM function will be organised for 4.30pm that day for all players that can attend and will be this time due to the staggered tee times plus many may have afternoon commitments with school pick-ups etc.  The presentation will conclude at 5.00pm, we will have 25 minutes of networking and 5 minutes of presentation.
