Quarterly Golf Day

SHBC SOCIAL GOLF

Our quarterly golf events, sponsored by BMW Castle Hill, are designed to give you some YOU TIME something that in these challenging times will be key for our own mental health.

Grab a friend or 3 and book in for a day on the green.
You can register individually, however we do prefer groups of 2 or 4 where possible.
All bookings are open to ladies and gentlemen who are Chamber members, their staff, clients, and friends.

GOLF

• Our Social Golf, is a 2 person Ambrose event (played in a group of 4).
• We play 18 Holes of Golf and it includes a Cart for 2.

GREAT NEWS “WE ARE BACK TO RUNNING SHOTGUN STARTS”

• Registration for ALL players will be 9 am
• Briefing for ALL players will be 9.15 am
• Shotgun start for ALL players will be between 9.20 and 9.30 am

NEW – Upon arrival you can pre purchase the Chamber “Lunch Special” and there are great options to choose from.

HANDICAPS & PRIZES

• If you have an AGU handicap, then you will advise on arrival at the pro-shop and play to that.
• If you have a Social Club handicap, then you will advise on arrival at the pro-shop and play to that.
• If you don't have a registered handicap the Ladies will be allocated 45 and Men 36.
• The winning ambrose pair for the day, will win a round for two each, with a cart at Riverside Oaks.

IMPORTANT: 

Golf will go ahead rain, hail or shine unless the course advises us otherwise prior to the round.

Ticket Refunds are only provided:

- If the event is cancelled PRIOR to event commencing whereby a full refund or credit will be provided
- If the event is cancelled mid-round (ie you've only played up to 9 holes) and we are unable to recommence within 1 hour of course closure, a credit of $30 will be provided for 18 hole players only

Otherwise the SHBC general Cancellation policy applies.

LUNCH & IN PERSON PRESENTATION:

As this is a Shotgun start and we are playing 2 ball ambrose, we would expect that all players whom are playing 18 holes, to be back at the clubhouse by no later than 2 pm. Therefore a total 4 1/2 hours for play which equals 15 minutes per hole.

Upon completion of your round, you can head to the Brasserie to collect your pre-ordered lunch from prior to the commencement of play for lunch and some relaxed networking.

Approximately between 2.30 - 2.45, We will have a short presentation from our Golf Program Sponsors, BMW Castle Hill and also Riverside Oaks Golf Resort will be presenting the prize for the winning ambrose pair on the day.
