I am a certified Titleist performance institute fitness trainer for golfers of all levels, ages and genders!
My job is to help improve a golfers balance, mobility, strength, speed and power, with a little cardio thrown in as well.
I would consider myself as a specialist in getting the body into the right positions for the golf swing, helping golfers reduce their pain levels and chances of injury by finding the root cause of their body/swing relationship!
A quick tip:
For office workers that sit a lot in their job, you most likely have weak abs and glutes, tight hip flexors and a feeling that your hamstrings are about to snap if you try and touch your toes, this issues can lead to back problems off and on the course as well as the possibility of losing your posture in the golf swing! possible solutions are to get stronger in the glutes and abdominals and create more mobility in the hips!
Golf fitness is especially beneficial for the +55's with any handicap, creating or keeping your balance, mobility and strength as you get older is the key to avoiding ongoing pain and the chances of injury out on the course and in day to day life as well.
